Electricity, gas, and household energy price indices from the ONS CPI.
Energy CPI indices show how energy prices have changed relative to 2015=100. A value of 150 means prices are 50% higher than in 2015.
The 2022 energy crisis saw gas and electricity indices nearly triple due to global supply disruptions and the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
These are index values, not pound amounts. They measure relative price changes over time from a base year (2015=100).
