Quick answers to the most common questions. If you need more, the resources section explains how charts, views, indicators and credits work.

Frequently asked questions

How do I create an account?
Go to sign up and register with your email and a password. Browsing public charts and views doesn't require an account — you only need one to use Chart Studio, save work and use credits.
I didn't get my verification email
After signing up we send a confirmation email — please check your spam or junk folder. If it still hasn't arrived, try logging in: if your email isn't verified yet, you'll see a prompt with a Resend verification email button. Verification links can also expire, in which case requesting a new one will fix it.
What are credits and how are they used?
Credits power AI and data actions such as building or changing a chart, looking up a value, explanations and online source searches. Viewing charts is always free. Each plan includes a monthly pool of credits that resets every billing period. See the pricing page for allowances and per-action costs.
What happens when I run out of credits?
AI and data actions pause until your credits reset at the start of your next billing period, or you can upgrade for a larger monthly allowance. Viewing charts is never affected.
What's the difference between saved charts and saved views?
A saved chart is a single chart you've built in Chart Studio. A saved view compiles several charts into one page. Your plan sets how many of each you can keep.
Can I share my charts publicly?
Yes. You can publish a view to get a read-only public link that anyone can open — no account required. Published views only contain the chart data you choose to share, not your account details.
Can I export data?
Yes — available export formats depend on your plan. You can see which formats each plan includes on the pricing page.
How do I reset my password?
On the login page, choose Forgot your password? and enter your email. We'll send a secure link to set a new password.
